Using the mirrors has to be part of a basic driving routine; you must regularly check all your mirrors and act safely on what you see. Always check your mirrors before:

Your examiner will see if you make use of all your mirrors and how you act on what you see.

You need to understand and respond safely to signal given by other vehicles and you need to give clear signal to other road users, in order to make them aware of your intention.

Speed varies according to the road conditions, traffic condition and weather condition. Always drive within the speed limit. For a driving test in Mauritius don`t drive beyond 40 km/h and not in the fourth gear.

A junction is a point where two or more roads meet. There are different types of junctions and the risk of accidents to occur at these junctions are inevitable. Treat all junctions with great care before you emerge no matter how easy they look.

Pedestrian crossing is an extension of the footway. Pedestrians is safe only if drives follow the rules of the road.
